🔧 Installation

The shunt is typically installed:

  • On the battery's negative terminal

  • Between the battery and all loads/chargers

  • Together with a battery monitor (BMV or similar)

  • With correctly sized cables (very important at 2000A)

⚠️ All negative connections must pass through the shunt for correct measurement.

💡 Tip from SejlStrøm:
2000A is only for the very largest setups. If you're not operating at that scale, it's better (and cheaper) to choose 500A or 1000A – but with this, you're covered for EVERYTHING 👍
